Androuet, at 41 rue d'Amsterdam, near Gare St-Lazare, is unique in Paris as a cheese temple. Every fromaginous delicacy you can or cannot imagine is served here, from soupe gratinee through rich fondues and souffles to cheese desserts, and the wines that accompany the cheesy dinner are from one of Paris's finest cellars.
Don Camillo, at the corner of rue des Saints-Peres and rue Verneuil, is an excellent Italian restaurant, where $3 to $4 will buy a wonderful pasta meal.
The Selective Shopper on the Prowl Paris is a shopper's heaven, especially if the shopper is on the distaff side.
