Standard Portrait Equipment: Standard portrait equipment, provided you have room enough in the studio and sufficient Lighting facilities to cover i-full-figure poses, will do the job required for theatrical portraiture. Standard portrait procedvires, however, will not.
Shooting a good portrait of the entertainer is just one-fourth of the job. Beyond that you must shoot a bathing suit shot which is a good example of pinup technique, the casual pseudo-candid which should pass muster as a fashion shot, and finally the most difficult of all, the picture which ideally captures a talent on film.
What equipment do you need to do photographic illustration? Many Camera formats, from 35mm to 8 x 10 view cameras, are used; Lighting can be electronic or tungsten light. Generally you will find a wide variety of photo equipment in studios that do general illustration. The more specialized studios will concentrate on the kind of equipment needed for the type of illustration they do. Food and still life studios would most likely have 8x10 view cameras and location photographers will work with more portable 2*/4 x 2'/4 or 35mm equipment. Most likely each would rent equipment for any jobs for which he . did not have the proper equipment.
This new standard replaced the meter bar as the fundamental standard of length in all countries, including the United States, whose measurements of length are based on the metric system. Under the new standard, the definition of the meter became 1,650,763.73 wavelengths of krypton 86. The new definition did not materially change the measurement of length nor in any way the relation between the English and metric units, since it was shown that the wavelength standard and metal standard were in satisfactory agreement. By this standard, the inch became equal to 41,929.399 wavelengths of the krypton light. |
