Roehss Museum Of Design: It is 70 years since Bruno Mathsson had his first separate exhibition at the Roehss Museum of Design and Crafts in Gothenburg (Göteborg).
Mathsson's furniture caught both European and American eyes following its international breakthrough at the 1937 International Exposition in Paris.The furniture designer is well known, but the architect will be a new acquaintance to most people. Harley-Davidson Unveiled Design for Museum Development Harley-Davidson unveiled designs for the Harley-Davidson Museum development on 20 acres at the corner of Sixth and Canal Streets near downtown Milwaukee. "The design plan for the Harley-Davidson Museum and its site incorporates striking urban design elements and engages the surrounding water and green spaces," said Museum Director Stacey Watson. "It also unites the city center with the Menomonee Valley and reflects the industrial heritage of the area and of Harley-Davidson." |
