Fine Art Units: In these units a matrix of fine art units stainless steel wool is placed between the poles of either electromagnetic or superconducting magnets, the latter generating magnetic intensities up to 15 T. Very high magnetic gradients are produced adjacent to the wool fibres and this allows for the separation of very fine art units particulates. Although the capital cost of HGMS is high, commercial units are available and finding increasing use.Fifty-two percent of its units have been sold. Fresh white units with neat round handles give this room plenty of understated style. The units were bought unfinished and then primed and painted to help keep costs down. To make the most of the dead space underneath the base units, drawers were fitted. Rather than fitting Wall units the owners decided to sacrifice the storage to avoid overcrowding the space. Wall units either side of the window would have also reduced the amount of light and compromised the airy feel. |
